Brass wire is a type of electrical conductor, mainly used for power transmission and connection of electrical equipment. According to different standards and uses, brass wires can be classified into different types.
1. Classify by material
According to different materials, brass wire can be divided into pure copper wire and copper-plated wire. Pure copper wire is made of all copper and has excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. Copper-plated wire, on the other hand, is made by coating a layer of copper on the surface of other types of wire, which endows it with excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance.
2. Classify by shape
The shapes of brass wires can also be classified according to different uses, mainly including round brass wires, flat brass wires and square brass wires. Round brass wire is suitable for general electrical connections, flat brass wire is suitable for some occasions that require easy threading, and square brass wire is suitable for occasions that need to withstand greater currents.
3. Classification by electrical performance
According to the requirements of electrical conductivity, brass wires can be classified into high-conductivity brass wires and ordinary conductivity brass wires. High-conductivity brass wire has better electrical conductivity and is suitable for applications with high current requirements.
