Mechanical water meters, the growth of scale and wear inside the water meter will become less accurate as time goes on, and the sensitivity of the water meter will decrease. Compared with traditional water meters that only use battery power, electromagnetic water meters are safer and more reliable, and have very stable performance in terms of water consumption statistics. The old large-diameter mechanical water meters are prone to wear and corrosion during use, which not only causes water pollution but also damages the water meter itself, resulting in measurement errors.

The electromagnetic water meter has a longer service life because it has a stainless steel casing, which can effectively prevent material corrosion and contamination. In different working environments, it can ensure the normal operation of the electromagnetic water meter.
