Application Fields:

Leakage magnetic field absorption: Copper foil can be used as a method to convert the leakage magnetic field of the transformer into a short-circuit current, thereby avoiding interference with surrounding components.
High current winding: Copper foil is used on high current windings. In this type of transformer, since larger current windings are required, if copper wire is used, it would be difficult to wind due to the larger size of the copper wire, and an attraction effect would occur. At this time, copper foil is used as a substitute. At this point, leads must be welded at both ends of the copper foil.
Winding of power frequency transformers: Back-coated copper foil can be used for winding power frequency transformers. Its excellent conductivity and adhesion simplify the winding process and help improve the performance and efficiency of the transformers. Moreover, the back-coated copper foil also has good electromagnetic shielding properties, which helps reduce electromagnetic interference.
